Preliminary post

Hi all,

This new blog is intended to provide useful and interesting information on cars and trucks, with a particular Canadian perspective. The blog will revolve around my own reviews of cars I've driven (both long term and test drives), as well as news about forthcoming vehicles that look interesting (a concept that is to be defined along the way), and of course a good deal of technical information, much of which I'm going to put in a glossary, that has yet to be set up.

I have only experienced a handful of vehicles thus far in my short (6 year) driving history. I am not claiming to be an expert driver, or one who has driven everything ever made. What I can claim is that my knowledge of the physics and mechanics of autos is excellent, and that I have the ability to keep my observations and opinions fairly well separated.

As such I hope this site can be different and interesting, and may be a place of learning for all, particularly for myself. Also it would be a shame to test drive a bunch of vehicles and not tell anyone what they're like.
